Terms of Service

Welcome to Idle Mate (the "Platform"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your rights and obligations when using any service provided by the Platform. By registering as a member or using any feature of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform is only open to users aged 18 or above. If you are under 18, please do not register for or use the Platform's services.

You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete personal information when registering, and to update it promptly whenever it changes. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password, and you bear full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

The Platform provides listings, itinerary publishing, and sign-up features related to shared time and companionship experiences, along with other related functions.

Members may choose one of the following roles:

• Seeker: someone looking for companionship, who may browse and join experiences published by an Idle Mate
• Idle Mate: someone sharing their free time, who may publish experiences and interact with Seekers

Members may perform the following actions on the Platform:

• Join experiences hosted by an Idle Mate
• Leave a review and feedback after actually participating in an experience
• Report inappropriate content or behavior to the Platform

A Seeker may submit a booking request to an Idle Mate through the Platform. The booking process includes the following states: created, accepted, declined, confirmed, cancelled, and completed. The Platform retains complete booking records to provide booking services, handle disputes, and support customer service.

During the booking process, the Seeker and the Idle Mate may leave messages in the booking's comment section to communicate and confirm experience details. The Platform retains these message records.

To maintain the quality of the Platform and the safety of its users, the Platform reviews the following content:

• Experience listings published by an Idle Mate
• Photos, personal introductions, and related text uploaded by members

Content that has not been reviewed, or has not passed review, will not be shown to other users. The Platform has the right to determine, based on its internal standards, whether content passes review, without further notice.

Members must not engage in any of the following on the Platform:

• Publishing false, misleading, violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory content, or content that violates public morals
• Harassing, threatening, intimidating, or infringing on the rights of others
• Collecting or distributing another person's personal information without consent
• Engaging in any activity that violates the law or the Platform's rules

If a member violates the above rules, the Platform may, depending on the severity, issue a warning, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate the account.

Idle Mate has a zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Users must not create, upload, publish, share, request, exchange, solicit, promote, or otherwise facilitate any content or conduct involving the sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, or other endangerment of minors, including Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

If such content or conduct is identified or reported, Idle Mate may immediately remove the relevant content, restrict or terminate the associated account, and report confirmed cases to the appropriate authorities or child-safety organizations as required by applicable law. Users may report suspected child-safety violations through the in-app reporting feature.

A Seeker may only review an experience they actually participated in. Reviews must be based on facts and must not contain personal attacks, defamation, or other inappropriate remarks.

Members may use the Platform's reporting mechanism to report suspected violations of content or conduct. The Platform will review and handle such reports according to its internal process.

The Platform acts solely as an information and matching service provider and is not a party to any experience between an Idle Mate and a Seeker. The actual content, delivery, and interaction of an experience are the sole responsibility of the Idle Mate and Seeker involved.

When required by law or requested by judicial or law enforcement authorities in accordance with legal process, the Platform may provide necessary information, including IP addresses, device information, booking records, message content, and activity logs. The Platform will only provide such information to the extent permitted or required by law.

The Platform reserves the right to temporarily suspend or change part or all of its services due to system maintenance, upgrades, force majeure, or other necessary circumstances. The Platform does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the relevant Platform pages. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
